Why Should Quartz Sand Be Screened With A Square Swing Sieve?
23
Why does quartz sand need to be screened using a square swing sieve in production? In order to improve product quality during the screening process of quartz sand, it is necessary to use screening equipment for classification. Traditional quartz sand screening uses linear or roller screens. However, these two types of equipment are prone to insufficient accuracy, inadequate production capacity, and dust spillage affecting the production environment during the production process. The square swing screen is designed and produced to solve the problems of insufficient accuracy, low productivity, and dust dispersion in the process of screening quartz sand with ordinary vibrating screens.
Advantages of square swing screen in quartz sand screening
During the screening process of quartz sand using a square swing screen, due to the reciprocating motion of the shaking body of the equipment, that is, the screen box, under the action of inertial force, the screen box and the screen surface are connected to each other for periodic shaking, thereby causing the materials on the screen surface to undergo directional jumping motion along with the screen box. During this period, materials smaller than the sieve aperture fall to the lower layer through the sieve aperture, becoming undersize materials. Materials larger than the sieve aperture are discharged from the discharge port through continuous rolling and jumping movements, and finally the screening work is completed. The square swing screen can screen quartz sand from 1 mm to 120 mesh, with a single capacity of 20-30 tons and a screening accuracy of more than 98%. The equipment adopts a building block structure, which is simple to operate and convenient to maintain. The entire machine adopts a fully enclosed design, which is energy-saving and environmentally friendly.
